Serah brings more than 15 years’ experience working with innovators, researchers and policy makers in the climate change sector. She has worked on entrepreneurship and innovation programmes across Africa, including at the Global Centre on Adaptation (GCA), where she managed a $7M programme supporting innovators developing climate adaptation and resilience solutions.
Serah served as a climate specialist at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), leading youth initiatives and overseeing a $25 million climate programme. As a science and innovation manager for the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), she supported over 500 innovative start-ups and researchers. Previously, at Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (KCIC) she led on policy advocacy and advised over 100 start-ups developing climate technologies.
Serah has a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Edinburgh. She has also holds professional development qualifications from Said Business School, Oxford University, and London School of Economics.
