Lisa Scheible Willems sits on GIF Growth’s Investment Committee. She is the Founder and President of AlphaMundi Foundation, overseeing all aspects including gender lens investing and research and technical assistance for social enterprises. Prior to helping establish the Foundation, she joined AlphaMundi Group in 2013, as an impact investment advisor managing two funds in emerging markets.
Prior to AlphaMundi, Lisa was Director of Investments at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation where she was a member of a three-person team responsible for overseeing all aspects of management of the $550 million endowment and played an integral role in building a new investment process. Lisa has also worked with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, an emerging market fund of funds sponsored by the US Government and Grassroots Business Fund, an impact investment fund in Washington DC. Beyond her investing experience she spent four years working as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman.
Lisa has travelled extensively and worked with social entrepreneurs in Ghana, Honduras, Tanzania, and the Dominican Republic. She holds BAs in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
