Joe Torres is the Senior Advisor, Partnerships & Fundraising, sourcing and nurturing key relationships for the organization with a priority on new business development and strategic partnerships.
Most recently, Joe served as Director of Funder and Partner Relations and Executive Director of the Grand Challenges Canada Foundation. Previously, Joe was the Program Manager for the Grand Challenges initiative at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation leading all the program design, business and operations of the initiative with over a decade of experience developing new Grand Challenges country programs and partnerships around the world. His recent work involved developing a global network of international funding partners to invest in locally-led innovations focused on the intersections of climate and health. Joe has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington.
