Amélie Baudot is GIF's General Counsel and oversees legal matters across its operations and grant and risk capital portfolio. Before joining GIF, Amelie worked with AgDevCo, a donor-funded social impact investor and agribusiness developer advising on general corporate matters in addition to structuring wide-ranging be-spoke debt and equity investments. Prior to working in impact investing, Amelie worked as an Associate in the banking/restructuring department of Allen & Overy LLP advising clients on a range of financing transactions and in the international development sphere on a pro bono basis. She is admitted to practice law in England & Wales and New York State. Amelie earned a JD from New York University, a master's degree in international history and politics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and a bachelor's degree in international relations from Connecticut College.
